Mitsuro Hikime wax is an ancient Japanese technique for creating pliable wax that, when pulled and folded, develops beautiful, organic, striated textures for jewellery making.
This technique has been used to make this wide cigar band ring and I have also added granulation technique to this Mitsuro wax and then had the whole piece lost wax cast into sterling silver.
